PRIVATE 7 DAYS MARRAKECH TOUR TO ERG CHEBBI DESERT




Day 1: Marrakech


We welcome you at the Airport and transfer you to hotel to relax.


Day 2: Marakech - Telouat - Ait Benhaddo - Ouarzazate


After breakfast, we will pick up you at the hotel and then we departure to Ouarzazate over Tizi-n-Tichka pass while enjoying some attractive views of the High Atlas Mountains and also Berber villages. We will top for lunch in oasis at Telouat and then you will have the opportunity to visit Telouat kasbah. After that we continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site  - Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Before we arrive to Ouarzazate we visit the Atlas studios which host the largest movie studios in Africa. Many famous movies were shot here - Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile , The Mummy, Gladiator and The Man Who Would Be King. We will have dinner and spending the night in the hotel.


Day 3: Ouarzazate - El Kelaa M’gouna - Tinghir - Erfoud -Merzouga desert


After breakfast we head toward Tinghir, passing by Kasbah of Taourirt, then we continue the road by crossing the beautiful oasis of the palm grove in Skoura, where you can see and visit Kasbah of Amerhidil. Then we drive to El Kelaa M’gouna (the valley of roses). Besides that you will have the opportunity to meet some Berber nomads. Then we will continue through the valley and gorges of Dades. Later we continue our journey with exploring the marvelous Todra gorges then to the next destination which is Tinghir where you can have walk between the gorgeous oasis palm trees. After that we drive via Erfoud where you will discover the marble and fossils, and we finally continue to Merzouga, where we stay in comfortable hotel.


Day 4: Merzouga desert camp


Today we will explore Merzouga area 4x4. We will visit nearby village Khamlia where we will enjoy traditional African music (originally from Sudan).

At the evening desert camel will be waiting for you for an adventure in Erg Chebbi sahara dunes. You will spend the night in a bivouac (camp site in the heart of the desert), tasting Berber food, listening to the drums in a starry night and sleeping in a traditional tent.


Day 5: Merzouga desert -Rissani-Alnif - N’kob-Draa valley-Ouarzazate


The camel guide will wake you up in dawn to see the spectacular sunrise in the desert, later you will return to the camp to have your breakfast and then you ride camels back to the hotel to have shower to refresh your body . After that we drive to Rissani through the Ksours and kasbahs of Tafilalet .  We will visit the Zaouia of moulay Ali El-Charif, the mausoleum of the dynasty Glaoui founder, and have walk to discover the local market and traditoinal souks in Rissani . Then we head to Ourzazate via Alnif, Tazarin, Draa valley till reaching Ouarzazate. Overnight in the hotel or riad with dinner and breakfast.


Day 6: Ouarzazate - the pass of Tizi n’Tichka - Marrakech


After breakfast we departure toward Marrakech by crossing the high Atlas mountain through the pass of Tizi n’Tichka. Stopping along the way and enjoying the wonderful

surroundings then having lunch in a berber village called”Teddart” before your arrival to Marrakech. Dinner and breakfast in hotel or riad.


Day 7: Marrakech


Free day to discover Marrakech. We will transfer you to the airport at your flight time.
